Head Skipper Jig — White Chartreuse

The Head Skipper is built for one job: getting a jig under a dock and keeping it there. The head is shaped to skip flat off the surface instead of digging in, so you can put it three or four feet back under a walkway where most jigs never reach.

It flips and pitches just as well — the weed guard comes through laydowns, brush, and grass without loading up. Mustad hook, premium silicone skirt, tied one at a time.

When to throw White Chartreuse: white is the baitfish skirt. It imitates a shad flashing through a laydown, and in side-by-side underwater tests white actually shows up in dirty water better than black does. Skip it around docks, or swim it through open water when bass are chasing bait.
