F25 Series Crankbait — Black Widow

The F25 is the shallow one. A fat-bellied body that runs 2–5 ft and pushes more water than a tight-wobbling bait — which is exactly what you want up on the bank and any time the water has some color in it.

Throw it at laydowns, stumps, rip-rap, and the first few feet off the bank. Bang it into cover on purpose; the deflection is what triggers the strike.

When to throw Black Widow: dark colors work shallow in dirty water for the same reason they work deep — they throw a hard silhouette against the light coming from above. Muddy banks, heavy overcast, and low light early and late.
